EarthWize delivers custom-made oil solutions with a holistic, environmentally friendly approach. Operating at our processing facility in Mozambique, we bring comprehensive waste oil recovery and sludge remediation capabilities across the region.

Our services are available at most major ports in both South Africa and Mozambique. All stakeholders involved are issued a certificate of safe disposal for all waste slop/sludge oil discharged by the vessel.

With a holistic approach to environmentally friendly removal and recovery of waste oil, EarthWize is fully equipped to remove, transport, and safely recycle slop/sludge waste oil through a specialised treatment facility into a usable product — reducing carbon emissions.

We have developed a full cradle-to-grave solution for sludge ponds and lagoons whereby hydrocarbons are recovered and soil and groundwater is remediated with minimal waste needing to go to costly hazardous landfills.

Waste Oil Processing

Waste Oil Processing Facilities

EarthWize has established a state-of-the-art mobile waste oil processing plant at our facility in Mozambique. These plants produce up to 10,000 tonnes of finished product per month — both high-grade heavy fuel oil and light fuel oil meeting international standards.

The plants operate as a self-contained "Recovery Centre": hydrocarbon oils collected by vacuum/road tankers, stored in bulk, processed on-site. All waste water is treated using enzyme and microbial technology. Vapour recovery systems ensure zero atmospheric release.
